We will see lows in the low to mid 50s to start the day on Saturday with winds blowing out of the NE at 15-20 mph it will feel a little cooler. We will see much drier air on Saturday so look for mostly sunny skies
It doesn’t get much better than this for early February. Since Sunday we have had beautiful beach weather with highs in the mid to upper 70s at the beach and into the low to mid 80s east of I-75. We continue to monitor a line of showers with a few thunderstorms which is moving to the SE at 15 mph. This line of showers will be moving into Manatee County after 10 p.m. and will continue to track to the SE and be in Sarasota County around 11 p.m. tonight.
A strong storm system moving through the lower MS Valley will whip a cold front our way late Wednesday. We will see partly cloudy skies on Wednesday with winds out of the south to southwest at 15-20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.
Cloudy skies are in the forecast for the next couple of days as a frontal boundary hangs around and an area of low pressure develops in the Gulf along this old front. Expect to see plenty of clouds Friday through Sunday with only a slight chance for a few showers.
